There is always an abundance of children's games and activities, plus the largely attended evening street dance. On the ''hottest day'' of the year, vendors line the streets and welcome the guests like long time friends. This is not only a festival but a place to visit with neighbors, friends and family. Farmer's Day has been and will stay a tradition for many people around the region. The one day event allows over 200 vendors to line Main Street with their crafts, food and entertainment. There will be prominent returning vendors from around the nation and this year's event will also have a large produce market for festival guests. Entertainment is always a draw for the evening street dance and is accompanied by a magnificent fireworks show.
