Power in Partnership Breakfast - Salute to Agri-Business

The Rowan Chamber will feature the annual “Salute to Agri-business” at the Power In Partnership (PIP) program on Thurs., March 19, 7:30 a.m. at the Rowan Community Center, formerly West End Plaza (1959 Jake Alexander Blvd W, Salisbury, NC 28147). The March PIP sponsor is the Town of Cleveland. The featured speaker for the March PIP is Will Brinkley.

Brinkley is a first generation farmer from Davidson County, North Carolina. He began farming in 2008 and raises corn, soybeans, wheat, and straw. He farms with his wife Madison and their two young sons Henry and Holland. Brinkley is best known for being the “Tarheel Farmer” on Tiktok and has had millions of views since 2021 when he began posting his farm comedy. He currently has over 480,000 followers on the platform.

The purpose of the PIP is to honor our Rowan County farmers and those supporting this important sector of our business community.

Other PIP speakers include top North Carolina elected officials and business leaders. The dates for the rest of the PIP season are April 16 and, May 21. We will take a break for the summer and resume the PIP season in Sept. 2026 – May 2027. The Chamber’s popular Power Card will once again be offered for those who would like to take advantage of the PIP frequent attender program. Power Card holders receive a discounted price for the series and do not have to make a reservation each month.

The Chamber’s breakfast programs average over 120 attendees each month. Sponsors will have the exclusive marketing rights to the banquet room and provide a five-minute sponsor profile on their company. Partner agencies will share updates with the local business leaders and address issues of concern for the entire region. The Leadership Rowan Class will start their day at the breakfast and then venture out for each day’s session focused on a different aspect of the community.

If you are not a Power Card holder, individual reservations are welcome; however, the reservation deadline is Tues., March 17 by 4:30 p.m. The cost is $30 for members and $55 for non-members.
