Power in Partnership Breakfast - Dr. Lane Freeman
The Rowan Chamber of Commerce is excited to welcome Dr. Lane Freeman as the featured speaker for the upcoming Power in Partnership (PIP) breakfast on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 a.m. at Trinity Oaks (728 Klumac Road). Freeman will present on the topic of Artificial Intelligence. This month’s event is proudly sponsored by Rowan-Cabarrus Community College.
Freeman is the State Director of Online Learning for the North Carolina Community College System. A nationally recognized leader in AI and education, he has trained thousands of educators and workforce leaders on responsible AI integration, immersive learning, and workforce-aligned program design. With nearly 25 years in K–12 and higher education, Freeman brings practical strategies to help organizations embrace AI with purpose, ethics, and impact.
Other PIP speakers include top North Carolina elected officials and business leaders. The dates for the 2024-25 season are: Nov. 20, Dec. 18, Jan. 15, Feb. 19, March 19, April 16, and May 21. The Chamber’s popular Power Card is still available for those who would like to take advantage of the PIP frequent attender program. Power Card holders receive a discounted price for the series and do not have to make a reservation each month.
