Janice Fuller, has taught at Catawba for 36 years and has served as Writer-in-Residence for almost two decades, has published four collections of poetry, as well as poems in a wide variety of magazines and journals.  Her collection of titles includes “Archeology is a Destructive Science,” “Sex Education,” “Séance,” and “On the Bevel.”

Alisha Byrd-Clark is the author of "A Beautiful Storm - Finding Our Purpose On Our ALS Journey" is amazing love story about Alex and Alisha Byrd-Clark who found their purpose when Alex was diagnosed with ALS. This no ordinary love that was shared between these two not only transformed their lives but those around them as well. Alisha is the CEO & Founder at Gemstones & Compass Leadership Academy and Byrd Staffing.  She also serves on the Salisbury-Rowan Board of Education.
