DESCRIPTION:The Rowan Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the Oct. PIP will be held in Kannapolis! The sponsor is the City of Kannapolis and the keynote speaker is Andy Sandler\, owner of the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers. The Power In Partnership (PIP) breakfast will be held on Thurs.\, Oct. 16\, 7:30 a.m. at Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (1 Cannon Baller Way\, Kannapolis).\n\n\n\nSandler is an entrepreneur\, business leader\, and lawyer. He leads Temerity Capital Partners\, which invests in and advises early-stage companies developing new technologies in financial services. Sandler is Board Chair of Temerity companies Asurity Technologies\, RiskExec\, and Digital Pay. He is also a senior partner at the Mitchell Sandler law firm and founder of Asurity Advisors and Asurity Academy.\n\n\n\nSandler focuses much of his time on sports team ownership and real estate development. He leads Temerity Baseball\, which owns and operates three professional baseball teams: the Greensboro Grasshoppers\, Kannapolis Cannon Ballers and Lexington Legends. He is actively engaged in stadium-adjacent mixed use and hotel development projects in each City where he owns teams.\n\n\n\nA nationally recognized lawyer\, Sandler was a Public Justice Trial Lawyer of the Year finalist for securing a $554 million settlement for the Navajo Nation. He has also been honored with HousingWire's Vanguard Award and named a "Legal Visionary" by Legal Times.\n\n\n\nAdditionally\, Sandler founded The Sandler Family Foundation\, supporting health and welfare\, social entrepreneurship\, financial inclusion\, and inclusive democracy. In his free time\, he and his wife enjoy spending time with their five children and three grandchildren.\n\n\n\nOther PIP speakers include top North Carolina elected officials and business leaders. The dates for the 2025-26 season are: Nov. 20\; Dec. 18\; Jan. 15\; Feb. 19\; March 19\, April 16\; and\, May 21. The Chamber's popular Power Card is still available for those who would like to take advantage of the PIP frequent attender program.
